100% Ceremonial Cacao
Manufacturer: Lava Love
Origin: Guatemala
Cacao type: Criollo
After testing many different types of ceremonial cacao, we found this high-quality cacao bar, which can be easily cut with a knife on a chopping board or grated with a paring knife or grater. To make the cacao paste, the cacao beans are heated only at low heat to ensure that all the important ingredients are preserved as much as possible.
Every time you have a cup of cacao, we recommend that you calm down and focus your thoughts on a goal that is important to you in the form of thinking, spending time together or working.
What is ceremonial cacao and why drink it?
Unlike the most commonly sold raw cacao and chocolates, ceremonial cacao uses the Criollo variety, which is rarer than the common varieties grown for commercial use. Criollo has the most ceremonial qualities and less sweetness. The cocoa content is 100%, while typical commercial cocoa contains only 18% of actual cocoa from a different variety.
Makes you happy and relaxed
Drinking ceremonial cacao has therapeutic effects on bringing more joy, love and a sense of connection to the experience of life. Drinking cocoa increases serotonin and dopamine levels in the body and helps relieve stress without side effects.
High antioxidant content
Ceremonial cacao can help protect the body from free radicals and reduce inflammation.
More energy and concentration
Increases blood circulation and improves mental qualities such as alertness and energy. The effect can produce a deeper meaning from the day's experiences. The effect is coffee-like without the disturbing sense of nervousness produced by the caffeine in coffee.
Balancing
Experiences with ceremonial cacao have shown that it balances hormones and reduces hormonal acne. It is also said to ease menstrual symptoms by balancing mood swings.
Contains many useful minerals
Consuming cocoa can replenish the body's stores of essential minerals, which are not always available in the Western diet. Cocoa contains minerals such as magnesium, which helps the body to relax muscles, iron, zinc, copper and calcium.
Ceremonial cacao is a drink of love
Ceremonial cacao contains small amounts of phenylethylamine, which stimulates the nervous system and releases endorphins into the body. Ceremonial cacao activates the production of dopamine, which is linked to feelings of well-being and promotes feelings of love for your partner, yourself and life.
How to use it?
Those who are used to cacao can cut the bar into pieces of suitable size and eat it as it is.
The recommended single dose is 28-42 grams.
When consumed mixed with oat milk, the extra sweetness may not be necessary, but if you want sweetness, we recommend adding a tablespoon of honey or enjoying a few dates with the cup.
